Cacao Forest

You will take a short hike thru a magical place, where you will the history of cacao and chocolate, as well as our harvesting and farming practices. You are likely to see a variety of wildlife along the way.

Preparing Cacao

The hike brings you to an ocean view for the remainder of the tour. Here we show you how we ferment and dry the cacao to add value to the raw pod. As a micro batch single origin chocolate maker, we have the unique opportunity to make fine chocolate from our own trees.

Chocolate Factory

After learning the tree to bean process, you move to our mini chocolate factory and we demonstrate how Caribeans does the bean to bar process.

Tasting

Then enjoy a chocolate tasting, much like a wine tasting. We serve our version of the traditional Aztec chocolate drink, then finish with an additional tasting of flavor inclusions. There is no shortage of chocolate tasting on this tour!”

Bring Comfortable walking shoes, bug repellant and drinking water (We do provide drinking water at the factory). Rain gear (We do provide umbrellas if needed.)
